0. Brand Introduction (EN)

Pinglin - The Most Aromatic Tea Craftmanship Over 200 years ago, a group of tea farmers and tea masters from Anxi, Fujian, China, arrived in the Wenshen area and settled in Pinglin (locally known as Pingna in Taiwanese Hokkien). Inheriting their ancestors' tea-making techniques and benefiting from Pinglin's unique climate and geographical conditions, they cultivated exceptional tea that became renowned worldwide. Among these, Wenshen Paochong Tea, known for its exquisite aroma, stands out. Tea farmers in the area have adopted sustainable farming practices, allowing the industry to thrive while minimizing its environmental impact and preserving water resources. Through these sustainable and regulation-compliant farming methods, the tea industry and the environment can develop in harmony. Today, as a key transit point between Taipei and Yilan, Pinglin remains the last tea-producing region in the Wenshen area, preserving its centuries-old tea craftsmanship. Terroir Shapes Pingna Day In Pinglin’s dispersed village settlements, every home is a tea factory. Most tea farmers are also tea masters, refining their craft through shared knowledge of tea plantation management and tea-making techniques. This exchange is key to crafting the perfect cup of tea for consumers to enjoy. "Honoring tradition, embracing innovation"—more than just a philosophy, it’s a way of life. It’s about sharing Pinglin’s unique terroir and culture with the world. Come visit Pinglin, immerse yourself in its everyday charm, and experience Pingna Day.
